Stars n’ Stripes U18s 3 Stars of the Week (1/8/19-1/15/19)


⭐ Cam York: The University of Michigan commit recorded a 7-point game in the U18s 11-3 win over Youngstown. York recorded the Hat Trick and added 4 helpers, two of which were primary assists. His 7-point game sets an NTDP record for most points in a single USHL game. York also gave his plus/minus a boost by finishing the game a +7.


The Anaheim Hills, California native also scored once and recorded 3 shots in the U18s 6-2 win over the University of Wisconsin.

⭐⭐ Cole Caufield: In two games Caufield recorded 3 goals and 3 assists. That brings Caufield’s goal total to 31 on the season and 85 in his NTDP career. That moves him past Patrick Kane into sole possession of 2nd all-time. He now only trails Phil Kessel, who sits atop the list with 104 goals.


Caufield now has points in 7 straight games for Team USA, a stretch that has seen him record 9 goals and 7 assists over that span.

⭐⭐⭐ Alex Turcotte: The University of Wisconsin commit is more than rounding into form since returning from injury, Turcotte has been dominant and last week was no exception.


He recorded 3 goals and 3 assists, all of which were primary assists. Turcotte now has registered 8 goals and 8 assists in his last 9 games for Team USA.
