Stars n’ Stripes U17s 3 Stars of the Week (1/2/19-1/9/19)

⭐Thomas Bordeleau: The Houston native celebrated his birthday by scoring two goals in the U17s 5-4 Shootout win over the Tri-City Storm. Bordeleau followed that up with a primary assist on Brett Berard’s goal in the U17s 8-2 loss to the Storm the very next night.

⭐⭐Luke Tuch: Notched a goal and an assist in pair of games versus Tri-City. Since returning from an injury on 12/29, Tuch has points (2g, 1a) in three straight games and he now has 8 goals on the season, 2nd best on the team despite missing 8 games due to injury.

Tuch breaks up an outlet pass and converts on the finish on Jan. 3rd.

⭐⭐⭐Eamon Powell: Credited with helpers in both games versus Tri-City, Powell has now recorded 3 goals and 8 assists on the season. The 3 goals is most among defenseman on the U17s and his 11 points is second behind only Jake Sanderson’s 15 points. (1g, 14a).
